+ 0 - 1 | § ¶Only 409 Homers Behind A-Rod, and 200 Minutes to Catch Up
Yesterday, Alex Rodgriguez turned 30, with 409 major league home runs under his belt, a record. I'm only 409 dingers behind him, but I have the next three hours to catch him.Yep, I turn 30 tomorrow.
We're not doing anything special for the big day, although coincidentally we're heading to Prague tomorrow for a three-day weekend of fun. It should be a good weekend (assuming that Jenny doesn't get trapped in the Netherlands where she has a morning meeting). I've been to Prague a couple times, but Jenny has never been there, so there is a lot for me to show her. Perhaps more importantly, there are countless fresh barrels of the best beer in the world. I'm looking forward to it.
On another note, the party last week went well. Only eight people showed up, which worked out for the best. Ten people can sit in our living room comfortably talking and drinking, so we had much inebriated international fun.

We got back to Hamburg on Sunday after an interesting trip to the United States. This week has been pretty slow, full of rain, class, progamming, and fixing a bike. (more)+ 1 - 0 | § ¶One Wedding and a Funeral
It's time to head back to the States for a bit. On Sunday, I'm going to help scatter my Grandmother's ashes in Montana, and on the 15th I'm attending Jenny's brother's wedding in Chicago. In between, I plan to spend a bit of time in St. Louis, but not much. Then I'll be back on the 17th.So, I don't expect to be blogging much over the next couple weeks, since I'll be busy with family, travel, giving status on my Summer independent study project, and making sure the house is still there.
